Seeing as I can't find a way of getting RSP to log what songs have been played (with time / date stamp for each song) to the database, has anyone come up with a workaround for this?

Given that a certain rather large playout provider's UK arm has apparently gone under I've been told today, I might have a stronger business case to get a station I work with to invest in an RSP based system but the lack of logging to a database is the main reason they're reluctant. I've just read that song library edits can be prevented with a password, which I need to have a go with, but I get the feeling I might have to do something convoluted for logging involving a program on server the now playing info is FTP'd to looking for the .txt file changing then reading its content into a database or log file.

I'd make it a Pro feature thing, but given the link for Pro has gone I take it this has been abandoned or postponed indefinitely so link has gone to stop teasing us?

Surely it can't be that big a job to write something (or get it written!) to import the info from the .txt file into a database?
